Do you think that expectant mothers who smoke are commiting child abuse?

most definitely child abuse. Just like sticking a cigarette in their mouth. Just because you can't see them or their reaction doesnt make it right.

This is a tough one - b/c I think of a woman's right to do what she wants with her body and all, president set by abortion being legal (this may be way wrong though, since I admittedly am ignorant considering this law).
I'd certainly not be in favor of a expectant mother smoking, but don't think you could say she's committing child abuse.

I don't know if it qualifies as child abuse, but it is really mean. Smoking crack? yes. Cigarettes, definitely not nice to a baby in the womb.
