Will Apple ever turn into an "evil empire?"

Just curious, what's the typical qualification for a company to become an "evil empire"?

I guess people have to hate the company close to the amount they hated Microsoft.

Apple if the trendy crowd who overpay for stuff. I love my trusty ASUS laptop. Who wants to pay more for fancy packaging.

They're already evil, but they'll never become an empire. Open source is getting too prevalent in mobile devices and they'll never steal Microsoft's share of the PC market.
