QUESTION:

Have you ever asked your child/another child to keep a secret from your partner/their parents?

ever ask them not to tell about those shoes you bought today? Or how about buying them some candy/sweets that they aren't allowed? Or not to tell about visiting someone/somewhere you aren't supposed to go..........Shhh!!

Asking kids to lie is not a good idea. It tells them that it's okay to lie if they benefit (like in the candy scenario).
