Going with the near certainty that you are not Michael Jackson, I am going to say yes. Also don't try to be creative with formal attire. We have dinner jackets and we have suits. If you try to expand that wardrobe then we'll all be expected to make an effort and do something different. By modifying your attire you are betraying men everywhere.
