I recently saw a debate on if sex addiction was real or if it was just a "cop-out" people can now use after cheating on their spouses (Jesse James, Tiger Woods, etc.)

First time I wanted to vote Yes and No. Yes because it seems like a natural addiction for people. No because it will be abused by husbands and used as an excuse. It's probably like the ADHD debate. Valid affliction but over diagnosed and self diagnosed most of the time.

i have sex addiction, tv watching addiction, desert eating addiction, sleeping in addiction, and a long list of other similar diseases i suffer from.

I couldn't agree more with your statement Karentown. I know someone who can catch a disease by watching an add for the pill that will cure it...there's so much loose information floating around in cyberspace nowadays your well put "self diagnoses" is running rampant!
