I'm thinking that maybe b/c the conditioner doesn't get as sudsy as the shampoo you use more of it.

I think more people slather on the shampoo in larger amounts than conditioner. When I accidentally put too much shampoo I think it's ok, that'll mean my hair is super clean. But if I put excess conditioner, I feel like I am wasting money for some reason.
