I do, and I've used so much to the point where I just use it as filler words. Yup and I've used it in awkward situations without actually meaning it.

I do this a lot, its a habit i suppose. Mostly I do this because sometimes I don't want the person to think I'm completely serious and it's a casual conversation. Serious conversations involve no lol-ing. Depends on the seriousness of the topic being discussed I suppose.
