I think the novelty of American Idol for me has worn out... I remember Kelly Clarkson singing a moment like this and loving it. It was downhill for me from then on.

I only started watching this season because there was nothing else on at that time, but I don't think I'll finish. The last full season I watched was the one where Ruben Studdard won. Whatever happened to him?

yes...but only because there isn't anything else to watch during that time. there were a few that i liked but no one really stands out to me (hah! like i'm some expert of something).

Ellen hasn't been on yet and I don't know how she'll do. After seeing Katy Perry guest judge, I wish it were her instead! she's high-larious!
