depends... if you have kids, i think suburbs are better... you can say "yeah go out and play!" vs. "here's a bus pass and look out for traffic and drunk people" if you're single or married without kids? City is king.

Suburbs get old very quick. There are so many things to do in the city that you don't get in the suburbs. I mean, just look at superheros. You don't see Batman cleaning up the streets of Gotham Town, do you? No, because "City if king".
