Would it help our public school systems if politicians (at all levels) are required to send their kids to public schools?

Nobody cares more than when their kids are involved. Education would be a top top priority.

This would never happen. Even if it did, politicians would just lobby the government to spend more money on certain public schools like only those in "good" neighborhoods.

and just for the record, i don't think politicians should have to send their kids to public schools. any question that pretty much asks, do u think u should lose your freedom of choice regarding any topic that has no health/safety consequence would receive the answer no from me.
