Studies depict homosexuality to be taboo, and thusly an interest to the generic human psyche by nature. Some theories on why male homosexuality is not accepted in the same manner as female homosexuality is because men are perceived as dominant in a relationship and women as recessive (although women can also be dominant without necessarily irking the subconscious of an onlooker); you can have more than one recessive member but you cannot have multiple dominant members, as this directly contradicts the definition of the word.
I understand only 60% of what you said but I think you're on to something. Going back to the question though. For me lesbianism is not hot. I see it as a something some girls do to experiment or to get attention. The few lesbian or bi-friends I do have don't flaunt it in this negative way. It's way more personal and private.
I don't know about all the dominant - recessive issues involved; but with lesbians you have girl on girl action, so what's not to like? and not only that, with lesbians you already have overcome the hurdle of a woman willing to have another woman in bed when it comes the fantasy of having a threesome (being yourself w/two women - from a man's perspective).
OOOOKKKK Mr. Ryno... no ok no what ryno is getting at is that there cannot be two dominants in a relationship which means that one of the males is not dominant making him a submissive or a pansy/pussy/loser ect. wether its socially acceptable or not fuck lesbians they can go back to their fucking island
