QUESTION:
Well the Yankees continue to succeed without George Steinbrenner?
He is the man who spent billions of dollars making the team into the dynasty it is today. Will his successor continue the trend?

Considering that George Steinbrenner already stepped down a few years ago, and the team has since been run by Hal and Hank Steinbrenner with success (they won a world series); I think this question has already been answered.

If the Yankees continue to pay top dollar for free agents, they will continue to be successful. I'd still like to see a more level playing field for salaries, but give them credit for consistently putting out a competitive product for fans. I think with their current team, they seem poised to be in the hunt for several more years. Jeter, ARod, Petite and Rivera though are getting up there in age, but Cano and Texeira are fairly young.
