I'm confused, are you saying is being taller than 5'4" important or are you saying is being over (or just equal to I suppose) 5'4" something special... my guess is that it's the first one, and like all situations involving society, there will be people who find it bad, some who find it good, and some who can care less.

Being 5'4" isn't bad at all. It doesn't even preclude you from being in the NBA. I have a few friends who are on the shorter side and they say it sucks but you'd have to be that short to understand. I get that, I really do, but at the same time everyone is born with some perceived shortcoming (not a pun just can't find a better word). Some people hate being too tall, some too short. Some too dark, some too white, some hate their hair color, etc. Don't let your height limit you.

hey it's me, @Ryno, sorry for the confusion! my bad. yeah, i'm 18 now btw and yeah i'm pretty short for my age. tsk. @Kenta, thanks for saying all that, i was able to harbor some positivity after a tough day so thanks. :D
