Do you think it's wrong that AMC theaters are now officially banning outside food in their theaters?

I totally think it's wrong. Why after all this time are they coming out with this bogus rule. And how will they police this? Will they have hidden cameras or will they search people's bags before they enter the theater.

IMHO, theater operators need to stop focusing on concessions and just work on finding a new model for their dying industry.

i have no problem with sneaking in a hot dog, coke, and five course dinner in my pants. until they start an airport body scan, i have no prob at all

I thought outside food was ALWAYS banned in all theatres. That's why we all sneak it in

That's why guys should take chicks on a date to the theatre So that we can lug our big hobo bags full of "outside" goodies and treats! =)

This is ridiculous. Until they stop charging $6 for a small popcorn, $6 for a small soda and $5 for a small candy, expect me to bring in my own food after paying $12 to get into the place.
