Have you or someone you know been put in jail for something that you could not stop doing on your own?

I think we label people that feel uncared for by others and get consumed by an addiction and unable to stop. I've seen people crying while shooting up wishing they could stop? Why do we judge people when all of use struggle with doing the right thing on something. Everybody has there demons. And "no sin is greater than the other"(Bible)
