When buying something, does the brand name matter to you?

I hate label whores but I admit I do have a few LV bags. No one's above it me thinks.

Technology-wise, yes. Clothes are a different story.

depends on the product. for high ticket items - always yes. but for everyday use stuff i'll usually get the target knock off :-)

Can I get an AMEN for Safeway Select, Alfani suits, and Wal-phed!

I second what misstiffanyblue said. For high-cost items like a TV, car or computer, I will go with a trusted brand. But for food, clothes, etc. I don't mind lesser-known or generic brands.

I agree with all of the above. But I tend to go with the cheaper form/model of brands.

You know....it all depends on what's in my wallet at the time of purchase. If I just got my bonus then hells yeah! But, if I need to use my funds for new truck tires, I'll stick to the generic stuff.

Only if that brand consistently pleases me, otherwise it doesn't really matter.
