Should teachers be required to undergo personality and psychological tests and profiles before being allowed to teach.

Teacher's get paid extremely low salaries, work longer hours than most professions, are charged with the upbringing of the nations youth, and, depending on what state you reside in, are already required to pass up to three tests, one being an aptitude test, to be a certified teacher. I personally don't think psychologically analyzing our teachers would be productive.

Well everyone is entitled to ones own opinion... But if teachers are required to have these tests done then a parent should be... Not just about the obvious but the hidden actions and factors... So I guess it was a trick question in saying if teachers have more of an influence in you Childs life then yourself... Whoms really at fault here..?
