i didn't do this poll (male). but from my previous experience my girlfriend at the time didn't tell me which only made the story more confusing when she did tell me year or so after. honesty is golden.

I've watch a lot of tv drama where the girl will not tell them until 20 years later just to make the guy feel bad 20 years later. It's messed up.

depends how it ended. if i broke up from a serious relationship, then yeah. i'd like to think we were still friends.
