Doubtful. The country was already poor and had such an underdeveloped infrastructure to begin with. The quake just sets them back even more. For Haiti to recover they need to establish a solid government system above all else. I pray that they do. May all those who lost their lives there RIP.

it was in poverty before the quake, and whatever traction it gained prior to it was just set back a hundred-fold.
