QUESTION:

After viewing the iPad, would you purchase one?

Is there actually room for a device between smartphones and laptops? That I don’t know — I’ve always been skeptical there’s room for a third category in there. But if there is a contender for this space, is the iPad it?

Why would I want to carry around a HUGE iPhone??? Steve Jobs must really not be running the show anymore. I remember him saying we're not getting in the netbook space becasue we have the iPhone. This tablet junk is horse crap. It's impractical. Maybe around the house...just maybe. But out and about, no way. Apple struck out with Apple TV, MAC Mini, iPod Touch, Air, and add the iPad to the list.

I'd buy it. It's so sexy! $399 would have been better, but $499 ain't too bad either me thinks.

Can I afford it right this second? No, but if I could I would buy it. It's one of those futuristic items we've always dreamed of :)
