girls shouldn't go into a date expecting the guy will pay. for the first few dates, girls should at least offer to pay half...and then if the relationship develops, then the rotation method should be put in place.
I personally don't feel comfortable for a guy to pay ALL THE TIME..especially if we are both working. and vice versa!
I'm the same way. This guy insisted he pay for everything before. It was fine for the first couple dates but it became weird after that. It's a false sense of gentlemaness if that is a word. First dinner if he asked me is fine with me but after that you're just being weird.
There's nothing wrong with girls paying for the date but during the first few dates... I would at least expect the guy to offer paying. That's me. I'm conservative. But as we continue seeing each other and going out more frequently then taking turns is fine. Or if we are out for dinner and a movie and he covers the dinner, then I would definitely insist on paying for the movie.
Don't be presumptious and I'd kindly treat a lady like the gentleman that I am. Otherwise, I'd still pay but we're having French Food. And by French, I mean Jacque in ze Box.
