QUESTION:

Have you ever died in one of your dreams?

I'm just curious. My guess is that you can dream about being at your own funeral, but that doesn't count. I've been shot before, chased by monsters, fallen off cliffs, etc but when I am about to die, I wake up. What about you? Have you actually died in one of your dreams?

Huh interseting. I just realized I have never dreamed of dying before... ever. Guess I'm invincible in my dreams.

I always thought that if you die in a dream, you die.

I dreamt of falling. Those are the funniest because you jerk and suddenly wake up to see people around you laughing hysterically.

As a rule I never remember my dreams. But one of the ones that I do remember was of me dying. I was hit by a car, and I died. It was all from a first person perspective, so I actually experienced the getting hit, and then lying there dying part as well. And when I died, my dream continued on (still from a first person perspective), but I was watching everything as a spirit or something.

"(I Just) Died in Your Arms"
I just learned that the lyrics to this Cutting Crew song refer to having sex, as in "Dying" is a metaphor for an orgasm. Who woulda figured?

"Dying" being a metaphor for orgasm suddenly puts an entirely different twist on your question.
Have you ever "Died" in of your dreams? That's kind of a dirty question now.

I have never died in my dreams, but I have heard that if you do, your body will not be able to tell the difference between dream and reality, and you will die.
The closest I've come to dying in a dream is falling down into a snowy ravine, breaking all my bones, yet I couldn't feel any fear, panic or pain (regardless of the fact that it was a dream). Weird, huh?
