Is the new Domino's Pizza recipe better than the old one?

For folks who get their jollies complaining about the taste of Domino's Pizza, the company is about to do the unthinkable.

The world's largest pizza delivery chain (DPZ) on Wednesday announced plans to change every part of its core pizza.

New crust (added butter, garlic and parsley). New cheese (shredded instead of diced mozzarella, with a hint of provolone). New sauce (sweeter, with a red pepper kick).

Domino's says the new pizza will be in all U.S. stores by Dec. 27.

Will domino's pizza taste better than roundtable's pizza.

If not, I'm sticking with roundtable's.

A friend told me about the change last night and then I saw the commercial for it while watching the Sugar Bowl on TV so I had to try it for myself.

I was a little pissed the order took 1.5 hours (the driver apologized and said they got 10 Internet orders at the same time). But when I finally tried the pizza, it actually tasted good. I ordered their 2 pizzas with 2 toppings for $5.99 each deal. I tried adding some free drink coupons, but got denied. Total came out to $15.31 including tax and delivery charge.

Before I wouldn't even consider them...now I would. Especially if lots of people are coming over, it's a good cheap alternative to feed a lot of people.

Had this 5.99 deal twice this month already. I highly recommend it especially at this value. BTW, they include delivery charge in the cost? Damn, they got me for extra tip money yesterday.
