Most women have a pair so from an exclusive cool trend point of view, this ship has sailed. But they are just so functional and comfortable during cold weather months that for sure we have not seen the last of them.

And how did this trend originate? Anyone know? Was it just Jessica Simpson about a few years back when she actually had a career?

They will never go out of style. I love my uggs. I got a new pair for Christmas and love them. Yes, they are expensive but that is what made them semi-exclusive. Now there are a TON of decent knockoffs and you can find them in so many places. I'll keep wearing them in-style or out-of-style because I genuinely love them!

I heart my Uggs! I don't care if they do go out of style (FYI:trends standard they are out of style) they are sooo comfy and warm. Live in flip flops in the summers and Uggs in the winter

I used to think UGGS were a trend. Chicks I know like it for its use to warm up your feet on cold days. It's a cold weather necessity as flip-flops are for the hot summer days. They somewhat relate to rain boots. Rain boots don't always look cute but they keep your feet dry. I still don't own a pair. It's just not for me.
