I don't really care about the contamination aspect since I own dogs, but one day, I wanna carry my 70 lb husky around with me to see if they kick me out.
We should bust an ImprovEverywhere prank like the 111 shirtless men at Abercrombie & Fitch (www.youtube.com/watch). Gather a whole bunch of large dog owners and just enter a mall with them at the same time. Since they are too large to carry, we should utilize a baby stroller. That would be hilarious!
Small dogs pee anywhere too, they just don't have as much of it. I think it has to do with the idea people can make the choice and animals can't. That being said, I let my dogs out in our backyard before I take them on a walk. One marks, but nothing comes out.
