QUESTION:

When the speed limit is 50 MPH but the flow of traffic is going 60 mph, is it wrong to stay driving at 50 mph?

I ask this because i don't want to drive too fast because according to physics, it's exponentially(so i've heard) to drive at 60mph than it is to drive at 50mph but peer pressure(from people i talk to and other drivers on the road) tells me that I should drive at the speed what other people driving.

I say drive at the limit if you like but beware of road rage people... they can be very scary.

The first rule of the road for me is to drive defensive (ie. safe). If general flow is going 60, then slowing everyone down is definitely not safe.
