The lever is not a problem for me. Either I touch it or not, I still wash my hands after. What concerns me more is leaving the restroom and touching the door handle as I walk out. Think about how many people leave the restroom and touch the door handle without washing their hands.
I use my butt to open the door when if its a push/pull door. If I have to turn the knob, I usually use the paper towel to open the door after I wash my hands.
I totally know what you mean... I think that's the hardest to avoid. Any suggestions? Perhaps washing the water facet handle while you're washing your hands?
I'm with Alano...I push it with my foot and use a paper towel to turn off the water/open the door. What sometimes sucks is when the garbage is far from the door. That's when I'm a bastard and shoot a three pointer.
Wow, so many germ issues involving the bathroom that I was previously pretty much unaware of. I'm wearing my hazmat suit next time I go into the bathroom, but then I'll have to deal with the issue of taking it off w/o that germ killing shower - ahhh, what to do?
i've used a bottle; and that takes extreme care, b/c those small mouth soda bottles can be real messy. imagine shooting the mouth of the clown at the carnival w/the squirt gun to pop the balloon - but a thousand times more difficult.
I'm only joking...Sorry.
