Would you pay $30 more to upgrade to a suite at a hotel?

Back in the day, i would sleep on the floor to save 30 bucks. Now i think 30 bucks for an upgrade is well spent.

$3o seems like a good deal to get a suite rather than a standard room, but I suppose it also depends on the hotel.

For me to make a decision on this one, I need more information. Are we talking about a room that is already $175 and it's an extra $30 to upgrade or is it like $300 a night and $30 to upgrade. To me it's about incremental value.
