When meeting someone, do you prefer to be there before the other person?

Being there first lets me scope out the place and locate my exists :)

But at the same time it makes you have to keep looking around to see if the other person is coming...now...wait no that's not him...now...wait that's not him....now!

I tend to be punctual so more times than not I seem to be someplace before the other person. But I don't go out of my way to get there before someone else. I think I probably do prefer it because then I can relax and I don't feel like I'm rushing to get somewhere on time.

i think being on time is so important. and ahead of time even better.

I always like being the first one there. I just am a person that would rather wait for someone rather than someone waiting for me. For example, at the airport, if someone is picking me up, I would rather be there and then have the person get me, instead of them waiting for me. I am less anxious.
