Doesn't it seem like we are giving more money to the people in Haiti than we did for those people during Hurricane Katrina?

Yes, but think social media (twitter/facebook) and technology has made it a lot easier to donate for people.

I thought the same thing but I read this article that has some valid pts. that made me reconsider. Keep in mind it's someone's opinion and not pure facts...

2,000 or so casualties vs. 100,000 and climbing. Also much more damage in dollars to country infrastructure.
