QUESTION:

When you were a kid (or possibly even now), did you eat the "nasty" stuff first to save the "good" stuff for later?

To clarify, let's say you have a plate of veggies (nasty) pork chops (good).
If you vote yes, you eat the veggies first and save the pork chops later.
If you vote no, you eat the pork chop first and deal with the veggies later. Or you eat them at the same time (who did that as a kid?).
Click to vote and we'll show you the results.

You know what sucks; when you go out to eat with someone (stereotypically a girlfriend), and you eat the nasty stuff first - leaving the best bite for last, and then your girlfriend asks to take a bite, and they go and eat that best bite you were saving for last!

Yeah I was going to say that the same happens when you have a lot of brothers or sisters. You eat it now or someone else is gonna eat it.

That is a situation where a back-hand can be justified.

I share alot of things but I'm very protective of my food. Haha! I knew I'd get a comment like that sooner or later. =)

I still don't like to eat the crust around bread so I'd always eat the edges first.

I also do that with burger bun edges mainly because there is usually no filling in between. So if you're ever eating out with me, I rotate my burgers/sandwiches clockwise.

haha, i always eat the crust first too! part of me really wants to cut the crust off when making sandwiches but 1) i know that's wasteful and 2) i hate getting comments like, "what are you, 5 years old? just eat the crust!" :-)

I think you're basically asking pain before pleasure or pleasure before pain.

I hate especially when you ask your significant other if they want some right when you get it, then when you are at the end of it - the best part, they ask for some! My pet peeve for sure and he knows I HATE IT!
