Oh wow that sounds sooo wrong. You put coworkers in a bad position because it's their office and they can't just walk away. They're forced to fork up money for something even if it's not something they want to buy.

I dont think parents should bring their kids in to do it, but I dont see anything wrong with the parents asking around if anyone wants anything. I wouldn't go asking everyone if they want, but maybe friends or other parents. You can make others feel pressured to buy something so as long as you know who to ask, then I dont see anything wrong with it.

i don't think it's wrong, i think it's annoying. but at the end of the day, what's a few bucks for some kid asking for money in a nice way?
