this question confuses me. for the life of me i can't figure out what would make littering ok, and the question gives no reason as to why it would be ok. in fact the question implies that littering is wrong when you're younger - and i can't determine what connection age has to do w/making a wrong behavior okay.

Not all litter are created equal. In fact there are some litter is even considered beneficial so therefore they are considered "okay" from a science standpoint. For example, throwing a piece of apple onto the soil is considered for the soil and it's nature's compose.

I was told a long time ago the only 2 things that are consider "ok" is water and chicken feathers. Sounds kind of weird but the explanation was that when chickens are being transported, there is no control of the feathers flying out of the truck.

no, but when you turn 80, you can litter anywhere you want.
