Do you think it is ok for in laws to come into your house when your not home?

I live with my boyfriend in a nice house, and family surround our house. They walk right in when they please. They even come in my house and play our ps3 when we r not home.

Not ok if its bothering you. Your home is your place of sanctuary and privacy. You are entitled to your personal space.

It seems reasonable and I can think of a few scenarios of why relatives may need to go to your house when you are not there BUT playing ps3 is not one of them.
Maybe if they need a place to hang when their house is being fixed or maybe your house is the closest restroom. I think those are all reasonable excuses.

If has to be exceptable if they helped pay for the place. But for any other reason, probably not..

I used to be in the same boat. My mother in-law used to just walk in whenever she wanted. i'm now divorced, and now she knocks. she still has a key, and i think that is okay since i may need her help in an emergency. She is still the grandmother of my three kids.
