should a felon be allowed to own a pitbull?

Why not? This question is loaded, love it. You got felons who people are weary of and pitbulls who people are equally weary of. You put them together and you got one hell of a question. But really felons provide they are out of jail have paid their debt to society and are rehabilitated according to our standards. They should be able to have a dog. Just because pitbulls are portrayed as vicious creatures, in the proper setting they can be great dogs. But of course if this said felon lives next door to me, bet that I won't bring over the warm apple pie.
