I think the economy will begin to show signs of recovery during the second half of the year. it will take several years for it to be fully rebounded, but definitely see something positive this year.

Slowly but surely.... as long as there isn't a panic like 2009, we should be fine. Luck is on our side though. If that plane blew up, 2009 would have been considered a disaster year and recovery would be delayed much longer.

The economy needs to correct itself organically and that takes time. No amount of bailout money can provide a quick fix the situation.

I think that's the reason why we're in the mess in the first place -- the economy ran "organically" the wrong way.

the reason we're in this mess in the first place was b/c too many rules took away from it being a free market to correct itself originally. And I don't see how we're allowing it become anymore free to correct itself yet.
