QUESTION:

Is it appropriate to wear sandals and shorts on semi warm/sunny days even though there is still snow on the ground?

I don't follow those rules. If it's comfy then go for it. I'd guess though that if there is still snow on the ground that is still quite cold and so your toes could get cold fast. Wear what you want though.

I am currently wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and sandals and it's about 32ยบ F outside, go with whatever feels good.
